This sensor assembly is generally used within the dairy, brewery & pharmaceutical industry where a sanitary process connection is required. It consists of a Pt100 sensing element housed in a stainless steel protective sheath with a floating 3/8"BSP nut which the 3/8"BSP weld socket mates with on a tolerance controlled shaft with a rubber O-ring to complete the seal.
